Schedule & Location:
- Portsmouth, VA
- Night Shift
- 3 x 12-Hour Shifts
- Direct Hire / Full-Time
- Perform computed tomography (CT) procedures while ensuring patient safety and comfort
- Verify image quality and confirm accurate patient and procedural documentation
- Position and immobilize patients appropriately to obtain high-quality diagnostic images
- Administer oral, rectal, and IV contrast agents as required for procedures
- Assist radiologists with biopsies, drainage procedures, and other interventions utilizing sterile technique
- Review and troubleshoot imaging studies while maintaining compliance with radiation safety standards
- Utilize PACS, Radiant, and other imaging systems to document and manage exams
- Participate in departmental call rotation as needed

- ARRT Registration required
- BLS Certification required (or must obtain prior to direct patient care)
- 1+ year of CT Technologist or Radiologic Technologist experience preferred
- Advanced CT Registry preferred or must obtain within 2 years
- Associate degree from an ARRT-accredited program preferred
- Experience with PACS and electronic health record systems preferred
