Position Overview The Pre‑Sales Consultant for AI Solutions will play a critical role in supporting the sales process by providing technical expertise and creating compelling proposals tailored to client needs. This role bridges business strategy and AI technology, guiding clients through solution envisioning, feasibility assessment, and roadmap development. The consultant will be instrumental in defining client‑specific GenAI use cases, shaping proof‑of‑concepts, and supporting FPT’s AI/GenAI Go‑to‑Market strategy across North America. Key Responsibilities Partner with the FPT sales team to understand customer requirements and translate business challenges into AI‑enabled solution concepts and value propositions. Participate in client meetings, presentations, and product demonstrations, serving as the subject matter expert on AI/GenAI solutions. Proposal Development Develop detailed solution proposals and presentations that demonstrate the business value of FPT Software’s AI offerings. Technical Expertise & Presentations Maintain an in-depth understanding of FPT’s AI/GenAI services and emerging trends in AI/GenAI/Agentic/LLM. Deliver clear, persuasive product demonstrations and presentations to clients, addressing both technical and business questions. Client Engagement & Consultation Engage with potential clients to conduct discovery sessions, analyze business challenges, and recommend AI/GenAI‑driven solutions. Build trusted relationships with FPT sellers and their clients, acting as an advisor and offering insights on the application of AI/GenAI to meet their strategic goals. Collaboration with Internal Teams Work closely with FPT’s AI Center (AIC) of product management and associated technical teams to align proposed solutions with company capabilities. Ensure seamless communication between the client and internal teams during the solution design and client adoption process. Technical Expertise Solid understanding of AI, GenAI, LLM architectures, and frameworks (OpenAI, Anthropic, LangChain, HuggingFace, and techniques such as RAG and prompt engineering). Working knowledge of data engineering, MLOps, and cloud‑native AI services (Azure OpenAI, AWS Bedrock, Vertex AI). Consulting & Business Skills 3–5 years in pre‑sales, solution architecture, or client advisory roles, ideally supporting enterprise AI or digital transformation programs. Proven ability to frame business problems into AI/GenAI opportunities with measurable ROI. Strong storytelling and presentation skills for executive and technical audiences. Demonstrated experience delivering AI/GenAI‑enabled solutions with supporting certifications or published case studies. Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written. Demonstrated ability to work with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders, engaging clients at multiple levels of an organization. Familiarity with industries such as automotive, manufacturing, distribution, material handling, healthcare, energy, retail, BSFI, and understanding how AI/GenAI can drive transformation. Education Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, data science, or a related field; or equivalent practical experience. Why Join FPT?
