• Conduct a range of ultrasound examinations, including abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
• Prioritize patient comfort and safety during all procedures, effectively communicating each step of the process
• Create high-quality diagnostic images in partnership with radiologists and referring physicians
• Maintain imaging equipment, promptly addressing any malfunctions
• Accurately record procedures and keep up-to-date patient histories in the electronic medical record system
• Continuously enhance your knowledge of ultrasound technology and best practices

Key qualifications include:

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in diagnostic medical sonography or affiliated field
• Graduation from a CAAHEP-accredited sonography program is preferable

Required certifications include:

• Current certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or its equivalent
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is preferred
