Staff Accountant

Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented Staff Accountant for a temp-to-hire opportunity in Anaheim, CA with a growing accounting team in the automotive and parts manufacturing industry. This role is ideal for an accounting professional who enjoys both transactional accounting and general ledger work, including Accounts Payable, reconciliations, expense analysis, and month-end close support. The Staff Accountant will work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment where accuracy, organization, and strong Excel skills are essential. Key Responsibilities Process full-cycle Accounts Payable, including invoice matching, coding, approvals, and payment processing. Assist with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities, including journal entries, accruals, and general ledger maintenance. Reconcile high-volume corporate credit card statements and research discrepancies to ensure accurate reporting. Prepare account reconciliations, maintain supporting documentation, and analyze financial data for accuracy. Support expense reporting, policy compliance, audit requests, and special accounting or finance projects. Partner with internal departments to resolve accounting issues and improve accounting processes. Compensation and Benefits Pay range: $32 to $35 per hour. Job type: Temp-to-hire.
