Branch Sales Associate

Summary:
- Location: Elmsford, NY
- Duration: 6 Months
- Monday to Friday, flexible hours between 7am to 4pm
Responsibilities:
- Provide a high level of customer service through multiple service channels as defined in the Company Service Promise.
- Navigate customers to solutions that help them accomplish their tasks.
- Drive sales growth by identifying leads for further selling opportunities with every customer interaction.
- Manage the entire customer experience, including product selection, order entry, product picking, and vehicle loading.
- Maximize sales opportunities and encourage customer loyalty.
- Adapt communication style for different audiences via email, phone, or in-person.
- Pick, prepare, and stage will-call orders and shipping products.
- Prepare customer backorders and organize stock received.
- Assist with merchandising and showroom replenishment.
- Perform inventory counts and housekeeping tasks to maintain branch appearance.
- Learn and navigate through different computer systems for customer-facing and warehouse activities.
- Comply with safety guidelines and process standards, including wearing personal protective equipment.
Requirements:
- Flexibility to work within branch hours of operation.
- Ability to safely lift up to 50 pounds unassisted and heavier loads with assistance.
- Capability to learn and operate powered industrial equipment.
