Principal Product ManagerThe Principal Product Manager is responsible for managing highly visible projects for assigned products, applications, and services. Working in close partnership with functional business leadership, contributes to the development of the business strategy and subsequently translates that business strategy into product strategies, product development roadmaps and product requirements and specifications that: deliver value to the customer; meet the business operational and financial goals; and provide for the technology solutions, processes and other capabilities needed to scale the business.Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.Define and drive the strategic roadmap for the organization's 340B solutions, aligning technology investments with client needs, regulatory requirements, and market opportunities.Serve as the primary product leader responsible for prioritizing enhancements that improve our 340B product offering capabilities, program flexibility, client onboarding efficiency, and operational performance.Identify opportunities to expand our 340B capabilities, including support for new related products and evolving 340B Market requirements.Act as a senior product strategist within Agile/Scrum teams, managing product backlogs and ensuring that requirements are well defined, prioritized, and aligned with strategic objectives.Partner closely with engineering leadership to drive development throughput, remove delivery obstacles, and ensure high-quality releases.Provide oversight and guidance to other Product Managers and Business Systems Analysts contributing to the 340B product roadmap.Support the successful implementation and onboarding of new 340B clients utilizing MedImpact systems and solutions, ensuring system configuration, workflows, and data requirements are properly defined.Collaborate with implementation teams to translate client requirements into scalable product capabilities rather than one-off custom solutions whenever possible.Ensure the 340B systems and solutions support smooth transitions from implementation into ongoing operational production environments. Ensure the product roadmap reflects both client needs and internal operational optimization opportunities.Work closely with compliance, finance, and operations teams to ensure system capabilities align with client and industry requirements and evolving federal, state and manufacturer policies.Engage with 340B clients, industry groups, and internal stakeholders to stay informed about evolving 340B program requirements and industry trends.Contribute to pre-sales discussions and RFP responses by providing product and technical insight when requested.Supervisory ResponsibilitiesNo supervisory responsibilitiesClient ResponsibilitiesThis is an internal and external client facing position that requires excellent customer service skills and interpersonal communication skills (listening/verbal/written). Experience with Microsoft project management tools preferred. Working knowledge of key business applications such as SQL and SalesForce.Certificates, Licenses, RegistrationsProject Management Professional (PMP) Certification preferred.Other Skills and AbilitiesAbility to effectively recognize complex problems and apply analytic and critical thinking skills to innovate solutions.Ability to exercise sound judgment and decision-making.Ability to collaborate on cross-functional projects and liaise with stakeholders on both the business and IT divisions of the organization.Ability to define requirements and prepare and maintain detailed product/project plans and related financial analysis.Demonstrated ability to positively interact with clients, and staff of all levels, a willingness to take accountability for achieving service commitments and a demonstrated ability to achieve results.Deep understanding of the 340B market including claims capture logic, pharmacy switch data, and manufacturer reporting requirementsReasoning AbilityAbility to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.Mathematical SkillsAbility to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry.Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. The individual must have the flexibility to work beyond traditional hours and be able to work nights, weekends or on holidays as required. Work hours may be changed from time to time to meet the needs of the business.
