POSITION SUMMARY:
The Senior Program Coordinator reports to the Division Director and works closely with the Senior Program Coordinator who oversees the Addiction Recovery Services in the Freehold location. The Senior Program Coordinator provides clinical, administrative, and operational leadership for outpatient mental health services for this location. This role plays a key position in ensuring the delivery of high-quality, outcome-based, and person-centered care while supporting staff development, program performance, regulatory compliance, and operational effectiveness. This person serves as a member of the CPC management team and works collaboratively with program leadership and agency departments to support service excellence, while meeting budgetary and operational goals. The position balances direct care responsibilities with leadership duties. This person will maintain a clinical caseload and will spend approximately 40% of their time in direct clinical activities such as intakes and/or treatment. CPC is a certified community behavioral health clinic (CCBHC) and the Senior Program Coordinator will be responsible for the oversight and operation of the program. Must possess either an LCSW or an LPC NJ Driver's License with clean driving record for past 5 yearsMINIMAL QUALIFICATIONS:
LCSW or LPC. Experience and understanding of program regulations related to DOH licensing, DMHAS outpatient standards and JCAHO or CARF accreditation Must have 5 years' experience working with clients with significant mental health and/or co-occurring disorders. At least two of those years should include administrative and clinical supervision experience utilizing evidence-based practices such as DBT, CBT-trauma-informed, etc.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
LCADC in addition to LCSW or LPCSKILLS REQUIRED:
The ideal candidate will, Have excellent crisis management skills, experience with quality management activities such as record reviews, Use of, and ability to supervise staff in the practice of evidence-based treatment approaches, utilizing a recovery-oriented and trauma-informed approach to care Have a good sense of humor MAJOR SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES/PERFORMANCE OBJECTIVES: Provide clinical and administrative supervision to assigned staff. Support the day-to-day operation of the program, especially in crisis or demanding situations. Monitor productivity, complete clinical chart reviews, provide supervision on how to document and support staff in maintaining quality charting, and meet or exceed key performance indicators/outcomes. Ensure that your team is meeting productivity and financial objectives through effective monitoring and coaching. Assist with staff recruitment, onboarding, training, supervision and retention efforts. Participate in performance management activities, including evaluations, keeping clinical supervision records, and corrective action, when needed. Promote and participate directly in training staff to comply with agency policies, CCBHC certification requirements, payer expectations and all other applicable regulations. Coordinate workflows and oversee processes especially for high-risk clients. Serve as a clinical leader and hands‑on coach for staff working with clients who have complex cases and/or service delivery challenges. Work closely with case managers, peers, and other team members on clients' social determinants of health (SODH) issues. Support and model a servant leadership style approach to working with staff. Support an integrated whole-health approach to the care of all clients in treatment at CPC. Assist and support the use of technology, such as artificial intelligence and other innovations, as well as process improvement initiatives in your work at CPC. Foster a culture of professionalism, accountability, collaboration, inclusivity, psychological safety, and excellent customer service. Maintain a caseload equivalent to approximately 40% of a full‑time clinician's productivity expectations. Provide emergency coverage as a member of the management team on a rotating basis. Communicate directly and effectively with staff and clients. Be open to learning new skills and keep up to date on emerging clinical practices. Represent CPC at meetings, in work groups, at events in the community, or at institutions CPC works closely with. Follow privacy and confidentiality laws without creating barriers to communication with other treatment providers, family members, etc. Promote and model a recovery-oriented, person-centered approach to care that emphasizes hope, resilience, client choice, cultural responsiveness, meaningful family and natural support involvement in everyday practice. Be kind. Have a sense of humor and treat everyone the way that you would expect yourself to be treated.PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

The position requires prolonged sitting, some bending and stretching. Good eye‑hand coordination and manual dexterity sufficient to operate standard office equipment is required. Employees must have normal range of hearing and eyesight to record, prepare, and communicate information pertaining to this position. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move objects up to 30 pounds.
