Pediatric Icu Registered Nurse

This position requires working 3 night shifts of 12.5 hours each week, specifically from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, including a 60-minute unpaid lunch break.

Job Description

Join our dedicated team in a Pediatric ICU with 11 telemetry-capable beds, equipped to handle surge capacities. This unit manages critical cases, including respiratory issues, trauma, postoperative surgical recovery, and sepsis. The role involves providing high-level care including intubation, respiratory support, vasoactive drips, central venous lines, and arterial lines.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced pediatric ICU environment.
• Monitor and manage critical pediatric patients utilizing advanced telemetry capabilities.
• Administer medication and therapeutic interventions as outlined in care plans.
• Assist with intubation and respiratory support as needed.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 3 years of pediatric nursing experience preferred.
• Current certifications: PALS, BLS, PCAR, TNCC required.
• BSN preferred; CCRN certification is a plus.
