Position Summary: The Business Analyst serves as an enabler for the entire organization, providing services and concrete execution assistance to help operating functions (ranging from Sales to Supply Chain) improve. This position requires 0-3 years of previous experience in an analytical role. The Business Analyst collaborates with the Strategic Planning team and senior executives to solve business problems and drive business strategy.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Conduct market research across a range of geographies, product spaces, and end users.
• Assist in forecasting macro-economic indicators and revenue.
• Structure and complete analysis and research to solve operational problems, develop growth strategies, or conduct other initiatives for the Strategy and internal consulting team. Analyze data in Excel and database software to provide fact-based intelligence to management.
• Create business communication documents (including recommendations, strategic/work plans, procedural documents) in PowerPoint/Word that are well-structured and fact-based.
• Communicate effectively with departments and functions throughout the organization in order to gather and disseminate information.
• Engage in Continuous Improvement projects/tasks.
• Communicate effectively to supervision regarding problems and corrective action.
• Participate in and sustain 5S Standards.
• Must follow all required Safety and ISO procedures.
• Miscellaneous duties as assigned.

Education/Experience & Skills:

• Bachelors degree in a highly analytical field and 0-3 years of previous experience in an analytical role.
• Strong desire to want to learn about and develop competency in addressing a range of business issues/problems across a broad set of functions.
• Ability to approach analysis with a hypothesis driven framework and applies a range of problem-solving methodologies.
• Good attitude, creative problem-solving skills, and the capability to get things done.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) required, Palantir Contour and Foundry or other statistics programs highly preferred.
• Must be able to clearly, concisely, and accurately convey ideas and information to others, both verbally and in written form.

Working Conditions:

• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working at a computer using a keyboard and mouse performing repetitive tasks.
• Ability to open file cabinets, reach with hands and arms, bend, and twist, lift and move files.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
• Must wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) where required.
• Must comply with all work exposure EH&S training requirements and adhere to SIG SAUER Inc. Security Mandates.
