Job Summary:
Pre-Operative (Pre Op) Registered Nurse position located in Wichita, Kansas. This role involves providing care and support to patients in the Pre-Op Holding and Phase 2 recovery units. The position requires a dedicated nurse capable of managing preoperative procedures, patient assessments, and collaborating within a fast-paced surgical environment.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days shift, 12-hour shift hours, minimum of 36 hours per week, from 10/19/2026 to 01/18/2027.
• Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license, a minimum of 1 year of current acute care experience as a Pre-Op RN in a hospital setting, BLS certification, ACLS certification, and current Meditech EMR experience.
• Preferred Qualifications: Preoperative experience or ability to assist preop staff, prior Meditech experience.
• Additional Information: The unit handles Phase 2 recoveries for Urology, GYN, and other SDS patients, along with outpatient infusions, outpatient EKGs, blood transfusions, and procedures in Endoscopy, Cardiology, and Electrophysiology. The team includes experienced staff with a focus on patient experience, with opportunities for a schedule that accommodates work-life balance. Weekend coverage includes two 10-hour shifts every 8-9 weekends with a 30-minute on-call response time.
