Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students’ communication needs as a Speech-Language Pathologist. This engaging role offers the chance to make a meaningful difference during a maternity leave coverage period. Oversee a manageable caseload of 35 individual students along with incoming Early Intervention cases, helping students achieve their full potential.

Key Details:

• 37.5 hours per week
• Duration from late July through November, with the possibility to extend
• Provide comprehensive services covering evaluations, direct therapy, and participation in IEP meetings

Ideal candidates will thrive in a school setting, drawing upon experience with Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) devices and possess up-to-date certifications for practice. The ability to collaborate with educators, families, and service providers is essential for ensuring every student receives tailored support.

Qualifications & Experience:

• State licensure and certifications as a Speech-Language Pathologist (active and in good standing)
• Prior experience in a school-based SLP position
• Confident working with AAC devices
• Strong skills in completing evaluations, delivering individualized therapy, and contributing to IEPs
• Adaptable to both individual caseloads and Early Intervention needs

Core Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough speech-language evaluations
• Develop and implement therapy plans for assigned caseload
• Attend and contribute to IEP meetings, ensuring compliance and advocacy
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
• Maintain accurate documentation and progress reporting
