Step into an impactful contract opportunity as a Speech-Language Pathologist providing essential maternity leave coverage for a thriving school-based community. This full-time role, scheduled for 37.5 hours per week, runs from late July through November, with potential for extension. You’ll work closely with a diverse group of 35 individual students as well as handle an incoming Early Intervention (EI) caseload. Your expertise will not only drive student progress but also support families and multidisciplinary teams.

Key Qualifications:

• Current, active state certifications required for school-based SLP practice
• Proven background in school-based Speech-Language Pathology
• Experience with AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication) devices is essential
• Capability to manage both K-12 student needs and Early Intervention population
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to collaborate professionally with special education team members
• Submission of resume and certifications for interview consideration

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and AAC device evaluations
• Deliver targeted individual therapy sessions and intervention for a caseload of 35+ students
• Assess, support, and manage new and ongoing Early Intervention cases
• Participate actively in IEP meetings, developing and updating plans in collaboration with families and educational staff
• Maintain accurate documentation and progress records
• Contribute to a positive school environment by supporting student achievement and advocacy
