As a Security Officer Full Time Armed Driver Patrol Veteran in Hollywood, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer at a residential community, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and respond professionally to resident and visitor needs. This driving role offers the opportunity to deliver outstanding customer service, clear communication, and reliable support while representing Allied Universal's caring, team-focused culture and commitment to integrity.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, community policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and/or emergency services when needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of residential community grounds, streets, common areas, amenities, entrances, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor, contractor, and vehicle activity in accordance with site-specific policies and applicable procedures.
• Prepare accurate reports and maintain required documentation regarding incidents, patrols, unusual activity, and security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possess at least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.
• Possess a CPO certification.
• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• Possess a DD214 with an honorable discharge, an associate degree, 60 college credits, a police academy certificate, or a corrections academy certificate.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
