Mortgage ProcessorLocation: Melville, NYCompany/Industry: Well-established mortgage banking firmSchedule: Mon-Fri In-Office OnlySalary: $65,000 - $80,000/yr + benefits, depending on experience, flexibility for the right candidateType: Direct HireKey ResponsibilitiesProcess Conventional, FHA, VA, and other residential loan productsReview loan applications, disclosures, and documentation for accuracy and complianceWork within Encompass to update, track, and manage loan filesPrepare files for underwriting and clear conditions with borrowers, loan officers, and third partiesCommunicate with borrowers, title companies, attorneys, and investorsProcess correspondent and brokered loans for multiple investorsEnsure TRID compliance and proper disclosure timingMaintain a high-volume pipeline with strong attention to detailWork independently while collaborating with loan officers and operations staffProvide updates and maintain clear communication throughout the loan processQualifications5+ years of mortgage processing experienceEncompass experience requiredExperience with correspondent and brokered loansKnowledge of Conventional, FHA, VA guidelinesStrong understanding of TRIDExcellent written and verbal communicationAbility to work independently in a structured office environmentCompensation / Pay Rate (Up to): $65,000.00 - $85,000.00All compensation and pay rates are dependent upon skills and experience.
