Base pay range $19.00/hr - $22.00/hr Job Summary: We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Consumer and Business Loan Processor to support the end-to-end loan processing function for both individual and commercial clients. This role is responsible for reviewing, verifying, and processing loan applications—ensuring compliance with regulatory guidelines and internal policies while providing an excellent borrower experience. Key Responsibilities: Consumer Loan Processing: Review and process loan applications for auto loans, personal loans, credit lines, and other consumer lending products. Verify applicant information, including income, employment, credit reports, and debt obligations. Ensure loan files are complete and compliant with federal and institutional requirements. Coordinate with underwriters, borrowers, and loan officers to resolve documentation issues. Prepare loan closing documentation and assist with disbursement of funds. Business Loan Processing: Process a variety of commercial loan products, including term loans, lines of credit, SBA loans, and equipment financing. Analyze business financial statements, tax returns, bank statements, and organizational documents. Verify collateral, guarantor, and business ownership documentation. Assist in assembling loan packages for underwriting and closing. Monitor loan conditions, covenants, and post-closing document collection. Ensure all business loan transactions comply with regulatory, underwriting, and audit requirements. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate or Bachelor's degree in finance, business, or a related field preferred. 3+ years of experience in loan processing, with at least 1 year involving business/commercial loans. Familiarity with federal and state lending regulations (TILA, FCRA, ECOA, AML/BSA, etc.). Proficiency in loan origination systems and Microsoft Office Suite. Strong financial analysis and documentation skills. Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work in a deadline-driven environment with high accuracy and attention to detail. Preferred Skills: Experience processing SBA or government-backed business loans. Knowledge of financial covenants and business loan structures. Familiarity with Encompass, Client, LaserPro, or similar systems.
