Financial Center Banker

OH0518 North Ridgeville Job Description As part of the Branch Banking team, the Financial Center Banker will acquire an in-depth knowledge of Northwest products and services to provide financial options to clients through a consultative approach while expanding the banking relationship. Essential Functions Meet or exceed performance targets related to customer satisfaction, product sales, and financial wellness conversations. Conduct comprehensive financial assessments for customers to identify areas for improvement and opportunities for growth. Analyze customer accounts, transactions, and behaviors to offer personalized recommendations. Ensure compliance with all banking regulations, policies, and procedures, and maintain operational soundness. Provide leadership while ensuring efficiency and accuracy in all operational activities and financial center security. Identify and implement strategies to enhance operational effectiveness. Deliver exceptional customer service experiences, addressing customer concerns and complaints promptly and turning negative experiences into positive ones. Initiate proactive conversations with customers to build rapport and understand their financial objectives. Build long‑term relationships with customers, providing ongoing support and follow‑up. Maintain confidentiality and protect customer information. Navigate Microsoft Office and other relevant software to maximize technology tools and efficiency. Adhere to all security and dual control processes, daily branch tasks, and branch opening and closing tasks as needed. Complete other duties and special projects as requested by management. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Establish effective working relationships among team members and participate in problem solving and decision making. Present ideas and information clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing. Actively listen to others to achieve understanding and facilitate open exchange of ideas. Establish courses of action for self to accomplish specific goals and develop tracking systems for monitoring work progress. Make right decisions based on perceptive and analytical processes, exercising good judgment in gray areas. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent (preferred). One year of banking and/or retail experience (preferred). Sales experience preferred. Customer service experience preferred. Compensation and Benefits Hourly pay range: $16.00 - $22.00 per hour (actual pay based on experience, skills, and knowledge). Additional bonus earning opportunities and benefits are also available.
