RN - Case Manager Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Case Management Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 hours (08:30 - 17:00) Experience: Minimum of 2 years of acute hospital experience required License: Active RN license required Certifications: Epic experience required Must-Have: Previous charge experience Experience with patient ratios Proficient in Epic charting system Description:The position is for a Case Manager.The shift is Monday to Friday from 08:30 to 17:00.No call requirements are included.The role may involve floating as a case manager to any inpatient unit.Weekend requirements include working one weekend per month.If scheduled, a weekend day will replace a weekday shift.Acute hospital experience is required.Epic experience is mandatory.The unit will accept first-time travelers.Locals are accepted with no change in billing rate.The responsibilities include care coordination, discharge planning, and determining medical necessity.Knowledge of HIPAA guidelines is essential.Familiarity with prior authorizations and needs assessment is preferred.Interdisciplinary support includes various teams such as physical therapy and social services.The community served includes neonates, adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics.This role supports inpatient acute care and is a Level 1 trauma center. #J-18808-Ljbffr
