Parent Coordinator Job Description
Position Title: Parent Coordinator
Reports To: Executive Director or School Principal
Position Summary:
The Parent Coordinator builds strong relationships between families and Elijah's Way. This position helps parents stay informed, encourages family involvement, addresses concerns, and connects families with school and community resources to support student success.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary contact for parents and guardians.
- Welcome new families and assist with enrollment and orientation.
- Communicate school programs, events, and important updates.
- Organize parent meetings, workshops, and family engagement activities.
- Connect families with academic, social, and community resources.
- Help resolve parent concerns by working with teachers and administrators.
- Encourage parent participation through volunteer opportunities and school committees.
- Maintain confidential family records.
- Assist with attendance outreach and family support initiatives.
- Promote a positive, inclusive, and welcoming school culture.
