Physician - OB GYN Profession: Physician Specialty: OB/GYN Duration: Temporary Shift: 7a-7a and 2-3 p rotation Hours per Shift: 12-24 hours Experience: Minimum years of experience required License: Must have valid medical license Certifications: Board certification preferred Must-Have: Clean file for temporary privileges Description:Seeking OB/GYN locum tenens coverage for inpatient only.No clinic responsibilities.Schedule includes 24-hour unrestricted call.Coverage for the emergency room is required.Hospital has a mid-wife model in place, ensuring a physician is always available.Approximately 1000 deliveries occur per year, averaging 2-3 per day.The physician may perform circumcisions, preferred but not mandatory.The facility does not perform terminations but conducts D&C for miscarriages.Electronic Medical Record system in use is Allscripts.Temporary privileges can be obtained provided the provider has a clean file.
