Description - Reporting to the Vice Dean for Administrative and User Services, the Part-Time Clerk Supervisor provides friendly, high quality customer service to Library patrons and assists with Circulation/Reserve/Periodical transactions. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Assists with check-out/check-in of library materials. Provides basic information and directional assistance to library users, both in person and via telephone. Answers telephone and directs callers accordingly. Monitors security and facilities in the building on nights/weekends and reports problems to Public Safety. Supervises student aides. Records departmental statistics. May perform other duties not specifically identified above but which require the same degree of skill, and which are normally included within the above job title. Hours: Monday: 5pm 11pm Friday: 5pm 11pm Saturday: 9am 5pm Sunday: 12pm 6pm Subject to bumping

Qualifications - Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook and Word required. Excellent customer service skills. Ability to exercise initiative and judgment, and work independently.

Preferred Qualifications - Knowledge of general library operations preferred.

Salary/Salary Range - $19.21 per hour
