Registered Nurse (RN) - PACUWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our outpatient recovery team. This role involves providing exceptional post-anesthesia care to a diverse patient population undergoing various surgical and endoscopic procedures.This position requires staff to work from Monday to Friday, with no weekend or holiday shifts. The shifts include:12 Hour Shifts: 5:00 AM - 5:30 PM, 6:00 AM - 6:30 PM, 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM, 8:30 AM - 9:00 PM8 Hour Shifts: 5:00 AM - 1:30 PM, 5:15 AM - 1:45 PM, 5:30 AM - 2:00 PM, 5:45 AM - 2:15 PM, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PMProvide effective pre-operative and post-operative care to patients.Monitor patients' recovery progress and respond efficiently to any complications.Administer medications and perform necessary interventions as prescribed.Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.Educate patients and their families on post-operative care and recovery protocols.Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license.Certifications: ACLS, CLS, PALS.Experience in a PACU or similar recovery setting is preferred.Experience with AAA aneurysms is a plus.Must be a seasoned traveler; first-time travelers will not be considered.The outpatient surgery department comprises 29 beds and provides services for outpatient endoscopy as well as pre and post-operative care for various surgical specializations including neurosurgery, urology, orthopedics, general surgery, and vascular procedures. Operating hours are Monday to Friday, from 5:00 AM to 9:00 PM.Client Details State WV
