About the Role

The Company is seeking a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join their executive team. The CFO will be responsible for the financial operations of the entire enterprise, including the Fraternity, Foundation, and Housing. This role requires a seasoned nonprofit leader with a strong background in financial strategy, full accounting cycle oversight, and a commitment to GAAP and regulatory compliance. The successful candidate will drive long-term financial strategy, manage the budgeting and auditing processes, and ensure the financial health of the organization. Additionally, the CFO will be a strategic partner to the leadership, transforming financial data into actionable insights, and will be involved in systems and technology integration to optimize financial operations. Candidates for the CFO position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree in accounting (Master's preferred) and at least 10 years' experience in a CFO or equivalent executive role within a multi-entity, national-presence organization. A deep understanding of nonprofit accounting principles, real estate portfolio financial reporting, and experience with advanced accounting ERPs is essential. The role also demands exceptional strategic decision-making, stakeholder management, and a proven track record of mentoring finance teams. The CFO will be expected to lead the team in preparing accurate financial statements, maintaining internal controls, and proactively managing the organization's tax-exempt status. The ideal candidate will be a champion of the company's mission and values, and will be adept at fostering a culture of collaboration, integrity, and excellence.
