Position Overview

We are on the lookout for a talented and empathetic Sonography / Ultrasound Technologist to join our expanding team of imaging experts dedicated to delivering outstanding care. You will harness cutting-edge ultrasound technology to conduct diagnostic examinations, collaborate with a caring team of clinicians, and provide reassurance to patients through timely and precise imaging.

Your Responsibilities Will Include

• Conducting a diverse array of ultrasound exams, such as abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
• Ensuring patient comfort and safety during procedures, clearly explaining each process with compassion and care
• Working closely with radiologists and referring physicians to produce high-quality diagnostic images
• Operating and maintaining imaging equipment, promptly reporting any malfunctions
• Documenting procedures accurately and maintaining patient records within our electronic medical system
• Staying updated with advancements in ultrasound imaging techniques and best practices

Education Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related discipline
• Completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program is preferred

Certifications Required

• Current certification by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or an equivalent body
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is recommended
