Job Title

Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – Medical Surgical, Nights

Location

Gadsden, Alabama

Schedule / Job Type

Contract – Travel | 13 Weeks | Night Shift (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM) | Every Other Weekend Required | Projected Start: June 2026

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical unit during night shift hours
• Manage a patient assignment at a 6:1 nurse-to-patient ratio
• Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes within the facility's electronic medical record system
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes
• Adhere to facility policies, protocols, and dress code requirements throughout the assignment

Required Qualifications

• Active Compact RN License or Alabama RN License
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Minimum of 1 year of Medical Surgical nursing experience
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to qualify as a traveler

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with Cerner electronic medical record (EMR) system
• Prior travel nursing experience in a Medical Surgical setting
