Pediatric Dental Assistant | Arizona X-Ray & Coronal Polish Certified USD 18-23 / hour Posted on Apr 28, 2026 Overview Summary: The Pediatric Dental Assistant supports high-quality dental care delivery for children by preparing treatment rooms, patients, instruments, and materials; passing instruments and materials; and performing procedures in full compliance with Arizona dental standards. What we provide to you as a CHOICE teammate: Care for your wellbeing and work-life balance Professional and personal growth Experienced leadership support Fun and supportive team dynamic with events and celebrations Comprehensive benefits package including health insurance, 401(k), PTO, and continuing education (CE) support Responsibilities Essential Duties and Responsibilities (other duties may be assigned): Assists the doctor chairside during pediatric dental procedures, including behavior guidance and patient comfort techniques for pediatric patients Takes x-rays Captures intraoral (IO) images and digital X-rays in compliance with Arizona radiation standards Assist in Prophylaxis cleaning of teeth Instructs patients on oral hygiene Charts cavities and teeth with doctor Sterilizes instruments Sets up/breakdown and prepares rooms for treatment/hygiene Charting of patient's treatment and treatment plan with doctor Requirements Education and/or Experience Certification from a dental college (CDA or EFDA preferred) OR three to six months of related pediatric dental experience and/or training, OR an equivalent combination of education and experience Required Certificates or Licenses Arizona X-Ray certification Current BLS certification Arizona Coronal Polish certification Compensation & Benefits Salary: $18.00 - $23.00 per hour #J-18808-Ljbffr
