Job Description

Thai Cook / Line Cook – Thai Kitchen

Thai Kitchen in Ames, Iowa is looking for a reliable and hardworking Thai Cook / Line Cook to join our kitchen team.

Responsibilities:

Prepare and cook Thai dishes according to restaurant recipes and standards
Work efficiently on the line during busy lunch and dinner periods
Prepare ingredients, sauces, vegetables, meats, and other food items
Maintain consistency in food quality, taste, and presentation
Keep the kitchen and work station clean and organized
Follow food safety and sanitation procedures
Assist with opening and closing kitchen duties
Work closely with other kitchen staff and front-of-house team members
Help with food prep, inventory, and kitchen organization as needed

Qualifications:

Previous cooking or restaurant kitchen experience preferred
Experience cooking Thai or Asian cuisine is a plus, but we are willing to train the right person
Able to work in a fast-paced environment
Reliable, responsible, and punctual
Able to work well as part of a team
Willing to learn and follow restaurant recipes and procedures
Must be able to stand for extended periods and handle the physical demands of kitchen work

Schedule:
Full-time or part-time positions may be available.
Must be available for some evenings and weekends.

Pay:
Competitive pay based on experience.
