Nurse Practitioner-Critical Care: Intensivist

Banner Health is seeking a dynamic Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (ACNP) to join our growing Intensivist team at Banner Desert Medical Center or Banner Thunderbird Medical Center. Role Responsibilities:
- Provide cross-coverage call support
- Manage clinical care and round on patients
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team in a fast-paced ICU environment
Minimum Qualifications:
- Current ACNP certification
- Current CPR, BLS, and ACLS certifications
- Active prescribing privileges, including DEA license for controlled substances
- Experience preferred; new graduates with relevant critical care or cardiology experience are encouraged to apply
Work Schedule:
- Full-Time position
- Night shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
- 12 shifts per month, including 2 weekend rotations (block schedule)

Banner Desert Medical Center, Mesa- serves as a tertiary referral center for the East Valley of metropolitan Phoenix and treats the highest levels of acuity in the East Valley. It is ranked as one of the top five hospitals in Phoenix, and recognized for eight high-performing specialties, according to U.S. News Best Regional Hospitals report. Located in Mesa, Arizona, in the heart of the East Valley of metropolitan Phoenix. It is Arizona's third-largest city and enjoys the diverse people, cuisine and cultural amenities of one of the West's great urban areas.
Banner Thunderbird Medical Center- Glendale is a Level 1 Trauma Center, currently the fourth largest hospital in the Phoenix metropolitan area with 595 licensed beds and offers a wide range of medical services including, adult behavioral health services, cancer care, critical care, emergency care, general surgery, heart care, inpatient pediatric care, medical imaging, obstetrics and gynecology, orthopedics, outpatient rehabilitation services and stroke care.
