Physical Therapist - Travel Contract

Physical Therapist — Outpatient | Mason, MI Provide skilled outpatient physical therapy services to evaluate, treat, and progress patients toward functional goals. Develop, implement, and modify individualized treatment plans consistent with physician direction and patient needs. Document evaluations, treatment plans, progress notes, letters of medical necessity, and charges in a timely, accurate manner compliant with clinic policies and regulatory requirements. Delegate and direct discipline-specific therapy services for assigned patients. Participate in student supervision as assigned. Uphold professional licensure, ethics, and organizational standards for patient and employee safety. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program recognized by the APTA. Active Michigan Physical Therapist license required to start the assignment. Minimum 1 year of outpatient physical therapy experience required. BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required. Ability to complete comprehensive evaluations, develop measurable goals, and document per regulatory and clinic standards. Demonstrated competency in safe patient handling and infection control procedures. Preferred Qualifications Experience with outpatient documentation systems and charge entry. Previous experience supervising or precepting students preferred. Continuing education or certifications relevant to outpatient orthopedics or functional rehabilitation preferred.
