Providence Place Senior Living is hiring a full-time Activities Associate for the Connections memory support neighborhood at our Dover campus. You'll lead purposeful, joy-filled activities for residents experiencing early signs of dementia — the kind of work where a poetry reading or an art project genuinely makes someone's day. What you'll do

• Lead engaging daily activities: Memory Magic, Time Slips storytelling, poetry, book clubs, art therapy, and more
• Facilitate the Connections Club morning meeting — you set the tone for every resident's day
• Encourage and motivate residents to join in, stay active mentally and physically, and feel that sense of accomplishment
• Transport and accompany residents on outings
• Keep simple documentation of resident participation
• Serve food, drinks, and snacks during activities — hospitality is part of the fun
• Partner with caregivers and every department on campus to protect residents' dignity and independence

Schedule
Full-time, 8:30am–5:00pm. Must be able to work every other weekend and every other holiday, with some evenings required.

What you bring

• High school diploma or GED
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (you'll drive residents on outings)
• Patient, encouraging, personable, creative — you genuinely enjoy being around people
• Understanding of — or willingness to learn about — working with residents with memory impairment
• Good communication skills, written and spoken
• Comfortable on your feet and able to lift up to 50 lbs
• Prior retirement living or recreation experience a plus, but not required

Pay & benefits
