Client Service Senior Associate Corporate Mortgage Finance

The Client Service Senior Associate Corporate Mortgage Finance, is responsible for delivering high-quality client service and executing day-to-day operational activities across Mortgage Warehouse Lending and Mortgage Servicing Assets (MSA). This role ensures all transactions and processes are completed accurately, timely, and in compliance with CMF policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.

The role operates with a high degree of autonomy, managing complex transactions and relationships, resolving exceptions, and contributing to operational improvements across the CMF platform.

This position reports to the CMF Head of Operational Strategy and Execution or the CMF Client Service Manager.

In this role, as a Client Service Senior Associate, you will be performing the following responsibilities:

Operational Execution and Transaction Management

• Supports the administration and operational control of the Corporate Mortgage Finance platform by ensuring complex warehouse lending and MSA activities are executed in accordance with business objectives, client requirements, internal controls, and regulatory expectations.
• Analyze, approve, and process complex transaction requests and exception items within delegated authority.
• Monitor loan pipelines, collateral positions, mark-to-market activity, hedge performance, and aging metrics.
• Determines whether mortgage warehouse lending transaction requests meet policy, documentation, collateral, and client requirements.
• Ensure all transactions, reporting, and workflows are completed within established SLAs, escalating risks proactively
• Review participation and syndication transactions and coordinate execution across operations partners
• Responsible for eNote workflows and CMF eVault, testing with clients and investors, validating eRegistry information in MERS and maintaining tri-party eNote agreements.

Client Service & Relationship Management

• Serve as a primary point of contact for assigned clients, including larger and more complex relationships
• Deliver high-touch service through proactive communication, issue resolution, and ongoing engagement
• Partner with Relationship Managers, Operations, and Commercial teams to resolve client needs and drive outcomes
• Support client onboarding activities across systems and operational workflows by prioritizing client needs and determining training curriculum and recommending operational processes to support client products.

Risk Management, Compliance & Oversight

• Ensure adherence to CMF policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
• Identify, analyze, and resolve discrepancies or operational issues; escalate as appropriate
• Support loan reviews, audits, and governance activities by maintaining high-quality documentation and controls
• Assist with oversight of internal and external vendors, ensuring service quality and performance standards are met

Reporting & Analytics

• Prepare portfolio and operational reports, including performance, exposure, and compliance metrics
• Support surveillance reporting, exception tracking, and management reporting
• Compile and analyze data to identify trends, risks, and operational improvement opportunities

Continuous Improvement & Team Leadership

• Contribute to development and enhancement of policies, procedures, and workflows
• Recommend process improvements aligned with product, technology, and client needs
• Participate in projects, system enhancements, and new initiatives
• Provide training, mentoring, and onboarding support to junior team members
• Communicate trends, training gaps, and process issues to leadership

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent combination of education and 3 or more year's of relevant experience)
• Minimum 5 years of relevant mortgage operations experience preferably in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Experience:

• Experience in mortgage warehouse finance, MSA/servicing assets, or specialty finance
• Experience with systems such as ProMerit or similar platforms
