D1 Training Canton is looking for a sales-driven leader to help launch and grow a brand-new D1 Training facility in Canton, Ohio.

D1 Training isn't a traditional gym. We provide coach-led, athletic-based training for youth athletes and adults, built around a simple promise: You pick the goal. We help you get there.

This isn't a position for someone who wants to sit behind a desk and wait for leads. We're looking for someone who enjoys prospecting, meeting people, building relationships in the community, creating opportunities, and closing sales.

You'll play a major role in taking D1 Canton from zero members through presale, grand opening, and continued growth.

You don't need to have spent your career in the fitness industry. We can teach D1. You do need to understand sales, be comfortable creating your own pipeline, and have enough familiarity with sports and athletics to confidently build relationships with athletes, parents, coaches, schools, teams, businesses, and community organizations.

What You'll Do

Own Sales & Revenue Growth

• Generate, manage, and convert leads into memberships and training opportunities
• Personally prospect through outbound calls, referrals, networking, events, grassroots marketing, and community outreach
• Conduct consultations, tours, follow-up, and membership sales
• Build and manage a consistent sales pipeline
• Track leads, appointments, close rates, active memberships, retention, and revenue
• Take ownership of sales goals and develop a plan when results are behind target

Drive Business Development & Community Partnerships

• Develop relationships with local schools, athletic departments, coaches, teams, youth sports organizations, businesses, healthcare providers, and community groups
• Identify and develop partnership, referral, team-training, and business-development opportunities
• Represent D1 Canton at community events, sporting events, networking opportunities, and local organizations
• Build D1 Canton's presence throughout the community and Stark County.
• Create new opportunities rather than simply waiting for leads to come in

Lead the Sales Function

• Help build a high-performance, accountable sales culture
• Lead from the front by personally selling and prospecting
• Train and support team members involved in the sales process
• Communicate results, challenges, and opportunities directly with ownership
• Bring solutions and recommendations when problems arise
• Help create the processes and habits necessary to consistently achieve membership and revenue goals

Help Launch a Brand-New D1

• Play a key role in D1 Canton's founding-member presale campaign
• Generate awareness before the facility opens through events, partnerships, outreach, referrals, and local marketing
• Build relationships with founding members and help create momentum leading into grand opening
• Transition the presale pipeline into long-term membership and revenue growth after opening

What We're Looking For

• Proven sales experience with a history of achieving measurable results
• Experience in sales, business development, territory management, account development, sales leadership, or a similar role
• Demonstrated ability to prospect and generate business rather than relying exclusively on inbound leads
• Strong communication, relationship-building, negotiation, and closing skills
• Comfortable networking and developing relationships throughout the local community
• Working familiarity with sports and athletics and the ability to communicate credibly with athletes, parents, coaches, schools, and sports organizations
• Self-motivated, competitive, organized, and accountable
• Comfortable working in a growing business where priorities can change, and everyone contributes
• Willingness to work occasional evenings and weekends for events and business-development opportunities

Fitness-industry experience is welcome, but it is not required. We're more interested in finding someone who can sell, build relationships, lead, and take ownership of growing the business.

Compensation & Benefits

• $50,000–$60,000 base salary , depending on experience
