School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist
Ampersand Therapy is looking to hire Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) for the upcoming 2026-2027 school year in the Joliet area. We're a therapist-operated company that puts clinicians and students first. Whether you are a seasoned clinician or a CF candidate, we'd love to connect with you.
Job Highlights

- Position: School Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with Joliet School District 86
- Schedule: Full Time
- School Year: 2026-2027 School Year
Responsibilities
- Provide speech-language therapy services in an elementary, middle, or high school setting
- Conduct evaluations and write reports
- Develop and implement IEP goals
- Collaborate with special education teams, educators, and families
- Complete documentation and progress monitoring in a timely manner
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Valid Illinois State SLP license (or ability to obtain quickly)
- IL PEL License with SLP endorsement (or willingness to acquire)
