Instructional Assistant Position Available

Instructional Assistant position available at Spring-Ford Area School District's Evans Elementary School. Are you looking to make a difference in the life of a child? Come join our team of dedicated educators and help support their instruction by assisting students with remedial work, independent studies, specialized areas of need and/or enrichment programs.

Spring-Ford Area School District offers a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision and prescription insurance, as well as paid time off and a tuition reimbursement program. Pathways to becoming a special education teacher are available through a partnership with Point Park University for the ABCTE program. This position is part of the PSERS retirement system.

Hourly Rate: $20.50/hour

Hours: 8:30 AM - 4:00 PM

Days/Year: 185

Growth opportunities are available including: Registered Behavior Technician training, ABCTE Teacher Certification Program, and mentorship opportunities.

Available: As soon as possible.

The successful external applicants must submit current (dated less than 1 year from the start date) Act 34, Act 151, and Act 114 clearances and a Health Record & TB Test (dated less than 90 days from the start date) prior to beginning employment.
