Class A CDL Truck Driver – Hagerstown, MD Ryder is hiring a Class A CDL Truck Driver in Hagerstown, MD. The role offers weekly pay and an attractive benefits package. Compensation Weekly pay $1,600+ (paid weekly) Hourly rate $27.58 per hour Expected hours: 50 hours per week Mileage reimbursement $0.72 per mile after 50 miles Paid training and flexible schedule Benefits Medical, dental & vision after 30 days 80 hours PTO first year, use from Day 1 Uniforms, cell phone & boot allowance provided 401(k) rollover available now with company match after 1 year 12 weeks paid maternity leave (eligibility criteria) Employee discounts on tools, vehicles, travel, tech and more 24/7 roadside maintenance and fueling at over 800 nationwide locations Responsibilities Ensure compliance with federal/state laws, regulations, and agency rules Detect and eliminate or minimize safety hazards Maintain accurate records and logs Load and unload freight, or assist with loading/unloading as required by customer Perform other duties as assigned Requirements Minimum 21 years of age Valid Class A CDL and appropriate endorsements Experience: 9 months within past 3 years, or 2 years in past 5 years, or 5 years in past 10 years Pass Ryder drug test and background check, motor vehicle record verification for last 3 years Pass DOT physical and Ryder road test Pass additional screening (employment and education verification, motor vehicle records, background check, or badge/permission per customer) Ability to read, interpret, and apply laws, rules, regulations, policies, and procedures Follow written and/or oral instructions Ryder is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer and Drug Free workplace.
