Senior Director Tax (Head of tax) @ Global Firm

Job Description

A client of ours is a Global Service Firm that has opened a new role on their team. Seeking a Head of Tax professional with 14+years to be the lead for the firm, reporting to CFO. This professional will work with Executives, Front Office, Operations, and Finance along with internal stakeholders. Responsibilities include Tax Compliance, Reporting, M&A Tax Diligence, Tax Risk and Strategy.

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Responsible for Tax Reporting, Planning, Compliance, and Structuring working with executives along with utilizing outside advisors
\n
• Strategic analysis of Global tax structing and planning
\n
• Buy-Side M&A Tax Diligence
\n
• Evaluate and Structure M&A transactions.
\n
• Review and Analysis of Partners Capital Account Model
\n
• Assist with Monitor Global tax developments (ex. legislation, regulations, changes in business operations) and communicate the necessary recommendations to management.
\n
• Proactively identify all global tax requirements and ensure compliance.
\n

Requirements:

\n
• 12+ years of related tax experience with at least five years in a public accounting firm a plus
\n
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required, Master's is a plus
\n
• CPA or JD is a plus
\n
• Partnership Taxation is a plus
\n
• Understanding of Stock Equity Compensation and Partner Capital Models is a plus
