Respiratory Therapist: NICU

Job Description Join a specialized NICU team in New Brunswick, NJ, as a respiratory therapist for a 13-week contract working 12‑hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM. You’ll be providing critical respiratory support in a Level IV NICU setting, though Level III experience is also accepted. This role emphasizes advanced neonatal respiratory interventions, including oscillators, jet vents, and nitric oxide, without ECMO. Your duties will include attending high‑risk deliveries and C‑sections, maintaining proficiency with neonatal ventilators, and collaborating closely with NICU staff during challenging cases. Candidates must have a minimum of two years of recent acute care NICU experience, possess necessary certifications (RRT, BLS, NRP, PALS), and hold a current NJ license. Please note, this is a solo assignment with no on‑call duties and no travel pairs accepted. Since this position serves as the primary employment for many travelers, flexibility regarding work commitments is appreciated.
