Job Title: 1st Shift Laborer (Evaluation-to-Hire)


Pay: $17.00/hour
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM, Saturday 6:00 AM - 12:00 PM
Classification: Evaluation-to-Hire


We are looking for a hardworking and dependable Laborer to join our team. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work and is looking for a long-term position with a growing company.

Key Responsibilities:

• Load and unload materials from production areas, storage locations, trucks, and containers
• Operate a sit-down hi-lo (forklift) and other material handling equipment as needed
• Sort recyclable materials and metals, separating high-grade materials such as copper, brass, and aluminum
• Remove non-conforming materials from production streams
• Shovel dirt, mud, ice, and other materials from production equipment
• Perform general housekeeping and equipment cleaning duties
• Assist with moving materials on and around conveyor systems

Qualifications:

• Strong work ethic and dependable attendance
• Ability to work safely in an industrial environment
• Comfortable performing physical labor throughout the shift
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Equipment Used:

• Sit-down hi-lo (forklift)
• Shovels
• Conveyor systems
• General material handling equipment

Physical Requirements:

• Frequently walk and remain active throughout the shift
• Ability to lift up to 10 lbs regularly and up to 25 lbs occasionally
• Comfortable working at heights, including catwalks alongside conveyor systems approximately 15 feet above ground level
• Steel-toed shoes required

Work Environment:

• Industrial recycling and processing environment
• Work performed both indoors and outdoors
• Exposure to varying temperatures and weather conditions
• Warehouse and loading dock environments
