Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Key Qualifications and Skills

• Valid Kentucky Special Education (SPED) teaching license

• Adaptable, compassionate approach to individualized student needs
• Familiarity with IEP development and case management responsibilities

Primary Responsibilities

• Develop and implement differentiated lesson plans tailored to individual learning needs
• Foster a positive, inclusive classroom culture that encourages student participation
• Conduct assessments, track progress, and maintain accurate student records in accordance with compliance regulations
• Collaboratively create, monitor, and revise Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Communicate regularly with parents, guardians, and other educators to support ongoing student success
• Participate in professional development opportunities and school staff meetings as required
