Manufacturing Control SpecialistVisium Resources has been asked to identify qualified candidates for this Manufacturing Control Specialist position. This position is a contract hire opportunity which is expected to be on-site in Schenectady, NY, for a duration of one year.Job Description:Organize and validate incoming work orders and reporting through SAPAbility to create and manage pick tickets, cycle count sheets and standard reports (KPI's)Responsible for auditing, correcting, and maintaining proper inventory levels in SAPTroubleshoot production orders, receiving, inventory discrepancies and other transactional issuesAssist operations and warehouse teams with order issues, product returns and nonconforming productsDetermine root cause of order/transactions and assist in development of process improvement plansShop Floor Material Management:Daily response to any front line escalations; either solve or escalate further to MRP or others for supportDaily audits of bulk materialJob audits from start to completionLabeling of job materialAssisting in return to stock processWorking with the warehouse for any issues with picksAttend turnovers, L1, and L2 meetingsAssisting in PI/Cycle Count prepAssisting in locating 'lost' materialDetails: Qualified candidates would have the following:High school diploma or GEDStrong background in ERP Systems (e.g. SAP Powermax); Requires knowledge of materials distribution and/or logistics processes, methods, and skills related to inventory and materials management.
