Job Description
MS Oncology RN

Schedule

Weekend coverage is required every other weekend. Block schedules are utilized, and 48-hour shifts are approved.

Assignment Details

Must have a vehicle for this assignment.

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of RN experience required.
• Preferred experience with autologous stem cell transplant and CAR-T therapy.
• BLS certification required.
• ONS chemotherapy/biotherapy certification required.
• Core clinical skills required include chemotherapy/biotherapy administration and monitoring, central line/port care, blood/blood product administration, and recognition/management of chemotherapy complications.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for chemotherapy/biotherapy patients, including management of oncology complications.
• Monitor patients for reactions and manage complications associated with treatment.
• Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and symptom management.
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to patient care planning.

Compliance / Notes

Must commit to working 3 of 5 holidays. Parking details will be provided. A compact license is required upon submission.
