Job Title: Food Service - Chemist Lv1
Client: Food Manufacturing Company
Duration: 11 Months
Location: Dayton, OH 45414
Shift: 12-Hour Rotating Shifts

7:00 AM – 7:00 PM

7:00 PM – 7:00 AM

Rotation from days to nights every 4 weeks

2-2-3 schedule (Mon–Tue work, Wed–Thu off, Fri–Sat–Sun work)

Description:

• Ensure products meet or exceed customer quality and food safety requirements.
• Develop an in-depth understanding of assigned quality and production systems.
• Assess quality parameters and systems, including raw materials, calibration, maintenance, procedures, food safety, training, audits, and analytical testing.
• Support process improvement, specialized testing, training, auditing, and data analysis.
• Identify trends, troubleshoot issues, support corrective actions, and communicate processing, final product, and wastewater results.
• Maintain and coordinate chemist technician training and partnership systems.
• Approve final production and ensure compliance with customer specifications.
• Support customer audits, initiatives, and follow-ups.
• Independently resolve moderately complex issues with minimal supervision and escalate complex issues when necessary.

Qualification:

• Bachelor’s degree in Science or a related field required.
