Investment Strategy Associate

Investment StrategistThis position is responsible for researching and building investment strategies as part of the Asset Management research and thought leadership function of Wilmington Trust.Primary Responsibilities:Work with senior members to research and start to build monthly strategy content for the Investment and Portfolio Management Committees.Develop and update supporting material and analyses for calls or meetings with client-facing Advisors, subject to review of more experienced Strategists.Proactively research pertinent investment strategy topics by summarizing and/or recreating analyses from research providers and academic literature.Independently develop investment charts and research for written investment materials as part of the Investment Strategist team to advise clients. Collaborate with senior members on written investment-related content for internal or external audiences.Understand and adhere to the Company's risk and regulatory standards, policies and controls in accordance with the Company's Risk Appetite. Identify risk-related issues needing escalation to management.Promote an environment that supports a culture of belonging and reflects the M&T Bank brand.Maintain M&T internal control standards, including timely implementation of internal and external audit points together with any issues raised by external regulators as applicable.Complete other related duties as assigned.Scope of Responsibilities:The position supports the Investment Strategist team in providing research, data and strategies that reflect the best thinking of Wilmington Trust and in support of Wealth clients.Education and Experience Required:Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 3 years' analyst experience, or in lieu of a degree, a combined minimum of 7 years' higher education and/or work experience, including a minimum of 3 years' analyst experienceEducation and Experience Preferred:CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) designation or progressing toward obtaining itKnowledge of capital markets or investment management industry experienceM&T Bank is committed to fair, competitive, and market-informed pay for our employees. The pay range for this position is $106,700.00 - $177,900.00 Annual (USD). The successful candidate's particular combination of knowledge, skills, and experience will inform their specific compensation.Location: Radnor, Pennsylvania, United States of America
