Senior Architect

We design for Federal Government, Healthcare, Education, Hospitality, Multi‑Family Residential, among other sectors. Your Role As a ThinkForm Senior Architect / PM you will participate on various projects through all phases of the project to complete simple and complex tasks necessary for the realization of an architectural project. You will be responsible for the coordination of all project efforts, administrative and technical, to ensure the most efficient and cost‑effective execution of assigned projects, and serve as the day‑to‑day client liaison. You will actively manage client budgets, schedules, and programs; project communications and documentation, estimate fees, determine scope of work, and assist in preparing fee proposals. You will provide oversight and monitoring of work of less experienced staff. You will represent ThinkForm to clients, peer organizations, and business associates. You’re a fit for this role if you have U.S. experience in construction documentation, are proficient in Revit, and enjoy working collaboratively to create and realize the built environment. What You Will Do Provide project team coordination for finished plans, specification, and material selections; ensure design intent is incorporated into the construction documentation Produce accurate technical and contract documentation for construction of projects Participate in construction administration, evaluate bids, conduct site visits, address technical issues, and maintain quality control during construction, review and respond to submittals and RFIs Work with consultants, contractors, fabricators, and regulatory agencies to meet overall project objectives Utilize hand and 3D software renderings to communicate design concepts This is an in‑office position (Charleston SC) Your Qualifications Bachelor of Architecture degree 12+ years of U.S. professional experience U.S. Licensed Architect or U.S. License track Knowledge of U.S. building codes, zoning, jurisdictional processes, building materials, specifications, and construction techniques Experience in U.S. construction document preparation and field observation Proficient in Revit, 3D modeling software, Adobe Creative Suite, Bluebeam Studio Strong leadership, organizational, communication and relationship management skills Currently eligible/authorized to work in the U.S. ThinkForm Life / Work Balance We encourage our employees to lead a healthy and balanced life while meeting the needs of our clients.
