Monitor Tech - Unit Secretary

Overview Day - 12 Hour (United States of America) In accordance with the mission and philosophy of ValleyCare Health System, the Unit Secretary is a member of the health care team who assists in the coordination of total patient care, under the direction of a Charge Nurse. This position is the focal point of communication and flow of the nursing unit. Performs various patient care activities and related non-professional services necessary in caring for the personal needs and comfort of the patient. Provides continuous cardiac monitoring as a trained observer at the nurses station. Maintains a safe and clean environment to facilitate the workflow of all the care providers. Compensation Base Pay Scale: Generally starting at $28.84 - $37.08 per hour The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, internal equity, experience, education, specialty and training. This pay scale is not a promise of a particular wage. Qualifications High School graduate or equivalent Applicant MUST have strong communication skills, as well as strong phone and email etiquette. Applicant MUST also be able to multi-task efficiently Basic Computer Skills Required. Detail Oriented.
