Cutting & Laminating Machine Operator (1st/2nd/3rd Shift)

Pay: Up to $25/hour

Position Overview

Operate cutting and laminating equipment to produce high-quality printed materials including marketing products, calendars, baseball cards, and packaging. This role involves machine operation, quality inspection, and adherence to production standards in a fast-paced printing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate cutting and laminating machines according to production specifications
• Load/unload materials safely and efficiently
• Perform visual quality inspections to ensure product meets standards
• Accurately document quality checks for traceability
• Stack and prepare finished materials for shipment or next process
• Follow work instructions and standard operating procedures (SOPs)
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace
• Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines
• Cross-train in additional processes as skills develop

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 1+ year of machine operation or assembly experience (printing industry preferred)
• Experience working with written instructions and quality documents
• Basic understanding of printing, laminating, packaging, or assembly processes
• Strong attention to detail and quality control
• Ability to stand for full shifts and work in a production environment
• Strong reliability and willingness to learn new tasks

Work Environment

• Climate-controlled, well-lit printing facility
• Fast-paced production floor with multiple departments
• Majority of shift spent standing, operating equipment, and handling materials
• Strong focus on safety, cleanliness, and process consistency

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of EDEN PRAIRIE, MN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00/hr.
