Maintenance Mechanic

A leading national wholesale distributor of health and beauty products is seeking a hands-on, skilled Maintenance Mechanic to join our Bellport facility team. Key Responsibilities

• Equipment Maintenance: Maintain, repair, troubleshoot, and install industrial packaging machinery and facility systems.

• Parts & Fabrication: Repair and rebuild replacement components using standard shop equipment (drills, saws, grinders, presses, etc.).

• Piping & Electrical: Perform piping installations and basic electrical troubleshooting on industrial systems.

• Safety & Quality: Adhere strictly to proper safety practices and ensure equipment is operating to produce high-quality results.

• Operations Support: Perform mandatory overtime when business needs arise, along with additional duties requested by management.

Qualifications & Skills

• Knowledge of basic electrical circuits and electrical measurement tools.

• Understanding of basic industrial motor control (480V).

• Hands-on proficiency with basic and precision measuring tools.

• Familiarity with general shop equipment (drills, saws, grinders, presses).

• Having your own set of tools is a plus!

Work Schedule Requirements

• Standard hours: Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM.

• Flexibility to work weekends and mandatory overtime when necessary.

salary: $50,000 - $65,000 per year

Responsibilities

• Quality Standard: Responsible for producing a high-quality product

• Safety Standard: Responsible for proper safety practices

• Mechanically Inclined-Having own tools is a huge plus!
