Job DescriptionAs a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol in Los Angeles, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a premier commercial real estate location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, monitor access points, and support badge and access-control activities. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while responding to security-related concerns. Job Schedule:
Day Time Mon 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM Tue 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM Wed 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM Fri 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM Sat 06:00 AM - 02:00 PMWhat You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to site procedures.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of building interiors, common areas, parking facilities, exterior grounds, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity.
- Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the property, reporting suspicious activity, hazards, maintenance concerns, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
- Complete accurate activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific requirements.
Minimum Requirements:
- Possess at least two years of security-related experience.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- A state, county, or city-issued security license is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
