About the Company Our clientis a leading U.S. fashion retailer, offering apparel, footwear, beauty, and home goods. It operates 350+ stores and robust online platforms, combining in-store and digital experiences. About the Role We’re looking for a backend-focused Software Engineer (70% Backend / 30% Frontend) to join a high-impact team. In this role, you’ll help design, build, and maintain scalable systems that power seamless digital customer experiences. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable, high-quality solutions while continuously improving engineering practices. Responsibilities Design, build, and maintain backend services (REST APIs, event-driven systems, databases, cloud infrastructure) Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and partner teams in an agile environment Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code following best practices Contribute to system design and technical decision‑making Support and enhance full‑stack features when needed (primarily backend‑focused) Participate in code reviews and help improve overall code quality Troubleshoot performance issues and optimize system reliability Contribute to monitoring, logging, and observability (metrics, dashboards, alerts) Ensure solutions meet security and quality standards Qualifications Solid understanding of software engineering fundamentals (OOP, design patterns, data modeling, algorithms) Experience with at least one backend language (e.g., Go, Java, .NET) Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS or similar) and modern infrastructure Experience with CI/CD, testing, and modern development workflows Familiarity with Docker/Kubernetes and monitoring tools is a plus Strong communication skills and ability to work in collaborative teams #J-18808-Ljbffr
