Infinity Homes is looking for an experienced Master Carpenter to join our team. We are a custom home builder and general contractor working on a wide variety of residential projects throughout Central Minnesota.

This position is for someone who is highly skilled with their hands, understands residential construction from the ground up, and takes pride in figuring out difficult projects and completing them correctly.

We are not looking for a production carpenter who performs the same task every day. Our work changes constantly. One week may involve framing a custom home or addition, while the next may include installing windows, completing detailed millwork, building a deck, making structural modifications, or working through punch list items on a finished custom home.

The right person is someone we can give a set of plans, explain what needs to be accomplished, and trust them to work through the details and produce high quality work.

What You Will Work On

• Residential framing including new homes, additions, basements, remodels, and structural modifications
• Window and exterior door installation
• Interior and exterior millwork
• Finish carpentry
• Decks and railings
• Siding and exterior finishes
• Remodeling and demolition
• Construction repairs and modifications
• Quality control and project punch lists
• Warranty and finish items
• Material acquisition and jobsite organization
• General carpentry and construction tasks as project needs require

Because of the variety of projects we complete, this position requires someone willing and capable of working outside of one specific trade when needed.

Who We Are Looking For

We are looking for an experienced carpenter with a strong understanding of residential construction and the ability to work independently.

You should be able to look at a construction problem, understand what needs to happen, and determine the best way to complete it rather than needing every step laid out for you.

The right candidate should have:

• Extensive residential carpentry and construction experience
• Strong framing and general carpentry skills
• Ability to read and understand construction plans and specifications
• Experience with both rough and finish carpentry
• Strong problem solving skills
• Attention to detail and quality
• Ability to work independently or alongside other field employees
• Understanding of proper residential construction practices
• Ability to communicate professionally with homeowners, subcontractors, and our project management team
• Valid Minnesota driver's license
• Ability to safely lift and handle typical construction materials and equipment
• Ability to work from ladders, scaffolding, and varying jobsite conditions

This is not primarily a supervisory position . We are looking for someone whose greatest value is their construction knowledge, craftsmanship, versatility, and ability to get difficult work completed correctly.

Position

Full time, hourly position.

Typical working hours are approximately 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM Monday through Friday . Overtime is available and may occasionally be required depending on project schedules. Weekend work is rare.

The majority of our projects are located throughout the Sartell, St. Cloud, and surrounding Central Minnesota area.
