This operations-focused role sits within Aptiv’s new product organization, at the forefront of transforming the auto industry with cutting-edge technology.To us nothing is impossible, you will have the autonomy to explore your curiosity, have fun and celebrate success along the wayIn your daily job you will:Responsible for software engineering customer communication for Adjacent Markets projectsWork with stakeholders, customers, others to understand needs, split Capabilities to define and prioritize Features.Approve SW features are done and meet acceptance criteria.Responsible for problem management triage for assigned projectWork with platform architects to define both functional and non-functional requirementsWork with release management to define release milestonesWork in an agile development environmentYOUR BACKGROUNDKey skills and competencies for succeeding in this role are:Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering5+ years of Software Architect work experience5+ years of embedded C/C++ programming experience2+ years of Multi-core Microprocessor experience(Renesas, Infineon Tri core, TI TDA4 preferred)2+ years of Automotive industry work experience2+ years or experienced on device drivers development, CAN / CAN FD communication, SPI, MCAL2+ years of Active Safety Domain experience2+ years of Agile development processCandidates for positions with Aptiv must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a permanent basis. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Preferred QualificationsAUTOSAR experience (BSW Stack development, COM Stack, Memory stack, Diagnostic, OS, WDG)CAN/Ethernet communication protocols and tools experienceISO26262 Functional safety experienceExcellent communication / presentation skillsEmbedded development tools (compilers, debuggers, oscilloscopes, serial data tools, etc.)Embedded microprocessor experience (operating systems, I/O drivers, communication drivers, etc.)Software testing and debugging experienceFamiliarity with Cloud-native technology (microservices, Kubernetes, APIs, etc.) and DevOps, CI/CDAgile development process – JIRA, AutoScrumWHY JOIN US?You can grow at Aptiv.
